Alice Lagaay (Dr. Phil)

Interim Professor for Media Studies and Cultural History, Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen. Currently research fellow at IKKM Weimar.

My professional background is in philosophy, my current research focus the concept and phenomenon of 'creative indifference', and I am actively involved in the emerging interdisciplinary field of Performance Philosophy.

Inspired by how theory can feed on and enrich one’s experience of life, I actively seek innovative formats for the communication of philosophical content.

My Spring Term 2016 class at Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, "Introduction to Cultural Enquiry (or WHY AM I MOURNING THE DEATH OF DAVID BOWIE?)" was nominated for the BEST TEACHING AWARD.

My Fall Term 2016 classes are dedicated to Media Theory, and the question: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE EUROPEAN?
